Notes

Around 1910, Illinois concentrated on the production of higher grade watches and introduced the "Sangamo Special", its highest grade. At the time, the present gold-cased "Sangamo", cost approximately $150.00. The combination of an unusual Montgomery dial and a solid gold 60-hour "Sangamo" is quite rare. 17 size watches are rare, and are almost always cased in the factory.
