Notes

Brotherhood Hampden watches are very rare. The regulator is Dueber's version of C.V. Woerd's patent of Dec 27, 1870, which derived from J. Gordon's patent of Feb 28, 1860.The name Montauk most likely originates from the Montauk Steamboat Company, operators of the New York-New England ferry, and the joint property of George Fahys and Henry F. Cook, his son-in-law.
