Notes

Between 1890 and 1915 Tiffany ordered few miniature watches from Patek Philippe. Most were based on 7 and 8 ligne movements. Only four are known based on 6 ligne movements. There was a tremendous difference in price between a regular-sized watch and a miniature one, reflecting the amount of time, to say nothing of the skill, necessary to produce such a small mechanism.
