Unsigned, Swiss, finished and cased in England, hallmarked 1887-88.Particularly fine and rare , 18K gold, hunting-cased, keyless, astronomical, Grande et Petite Sonnerie, clockwatch with perpetual calendar, phases ofthe moon, minute-repeating and 36-hour power reserveindicator.
C .four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. Off-white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute track, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four-year leap cycle concentric with Up-and-Down indicator, and subsidiary seconds concentric with phases of the moon aperture. "Spade" blued steel hands. M. 43 mm (19'''), 3/4-plate gilt brass, "spotting" decoration, 21 jewels, diamond endstone on the balance, lateral counterpoised lever escapemen, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by tripping a slide inthe band.Diam. 58 mm.
