King Batory on a Horse Czapek i Spólka w GENEWIE, No. 2695, made for the Polish market, circa 1852. Fine 18K gold pocket watch.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, spring-loaded back engraved with King Batory on a horse, floral borders, reeded band, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, secured by two small screws. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 40 mm. (18???), Cal. 4 (Patek classification), frosted gilt, 15 jewels, lateral counterpoised lever escapement with visible ruby pallet stones, uncut bimetallic balance with flat balance spring. Signed on the cuvette and on movement. Diam. 45 mm
