Probably English, end of the 17th century.Extremely rare and very fine steel, small brass and wood lathe with thread-cutting feature.

Steel bed with two vises, wooden head with zinc bearings, steel spindle with brass chuck, spindle has two sets of thread and two leaders mounted in slots of the head, wooden wedge for setting a leader, one leader working in a slot for regular work, steel tool rest vise for wooden inserts.Excellent condition.Dim. Length 33 cm., height 26 cm.
