C.On three feet, each in the shape of a winged woman's head, windowed side panels for viewing the movement, molded base and top, hinged bottom with aperture for a bell. D. Bronze ring with radial Roman numerals, half-hours on brass dial plate engraved with Orpheus playing the lyre while animals listen. Pierced steel hands. M. Hexagonal, brass baluster pillars, fusee and chain for the going train, fixed barrel for striking, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, blued steel balance spring, sngle footed cock engraved with stylized foliage, count wheel on the back plate.Signed on the movement.Dim. 130 x 130 mm.
