Johann Heckel, Warshaus, circa 1750. Fine silver pair-cased pull-wind quarter-repeating coach watch with an alarm.
C. Outer: double-body, leather-covered with sound holes. Inner: double-body, pierced, center with small engraved rosette, bezel pierced, swivel pendant, loose ring. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer Arabic minutes, inner white enamel alarm ring, aperture at 3 for alarm setting. Gold ?Louis XIV? hands. M. Gilded, full-plate, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental cock pierced and chased in elaborate floral decoration, diamond endstone, repeating and alarm trains with fixed engraved barrels, striking and alarm on bell. Signed on the movement. Diam. 123 mm.
