C.Two-body, oignon type, chased with Galatea seated on her chariot drawn by dolphins, with putti blowing a horn. D. Gilt brass with white enamel cartouches for blue Roman numerals, inner enamel half-hour track, winding aperture at 3 o'clock, center chased with scrolling. Blued steel "fleur-de-lis" hand. M. 47.5 mm., hinged, gilt full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel balance with flat balance spring, large oignon-type silver cock, pierced and engraved wth Orpheus playing the lyre, while putti accompanies him on a flute and violin.Signed on the movement.Diam. 58 mm.
