Attributable to Moulinié, Bautte & Moynier, Geneva, circa 1830.Very fine 18K multicolored gold, diamond-, ruby-, and turquoise-set watch with visible spinning balance in glazed protective case.
C.Three-body, "bassine", profusely decorated with applied rose, green, and white gold floral and foliate motives, flowers set with rubies, vase with diamonds and bezels with turquoises, spring-loaded back, gold hinged cuvette. D. Small gold, set in the lower part with Roman numerals, outer minute track, center engine-turned with wickerwork pattern, set on lavishly decorated gold dial-plate en suite with the case, aperture at the top for the diamond-set balance, spinning against blue enamel backround with rose gold sunburst pattern. Blued steel "spade" hands.M. 35 mm. (16'''), early bridge caliber, frosted gilt, standing barrel, cylinder escapement, five-arm diamond-set balance with flat balance spring.Dim. 42 mm., with the protective case 46 mm.
