Bouquet of FlowersUnsigned, Geneva, made for the Islamic market circa 1840.Very fine and rare large 18K gold and painted on enamel snuff box.

Rectangular with oval sides, the center of the cover finely painted on enamel with a lavish flower bouquet, oval frame, borders with translucent dark blue enamel and red champlevé enamel forming Moresque type pattern, en suite sides with each panel painted on enamel with bouquet of flowers surrounded by champlevé enamel pattern in Islamic style, the bottom panel centered by translucent red, opaque white and azure enamel rosette, scalloped frame, champlevé borders, 15-link tube hinge.Punched with later French import mark.
