Central Switzerland, circa 1760. Fine and rare ebonized single-hand hour striking bracket wall clock.

C. Trapezoidal, painted black with hinged side doors, hook at the top, bun feet. D. Pewter ring, Roman numerals, inner quarter ring. Single brass pierced hand. M. Brass, rectangular, two going barrels, verge escapement with pendulum running in the back, lens bob, steel rod. Dim. Height 48 cm
