Family Supper Le Paute, a Paris, No. 842, hallmarked 1760-61. Fine and rare 20K and painted on enamel quarter-repeating à toc watch.
C. Two-body, "Louis XV", back painted with a scene depicting a family supper, bezels chased with wavy pattern with white enamel small cartouches simulating moss agate. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, large five-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Diamond-set hands. M. 37 mm., hinged, frosted gilt full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock, repeating on small gold blockby depressing the pendant.Signed on the movement, case punched with date mark and fermier general's mark, Éloy Brichard master mark (used between 1756-62).Diam. 46 mm.
