Miniature Portrait of a Lady Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1820. Fine 18K gold quarter-repeating watch with a concealed painted on ivory lady's portrait.
C. Four-body, "Empire", polished back and bezel, fluted band, hinged and spring-loaded glazed cuvette with aportrait of a lady wearing a coral necklace. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued-steelBreguet hands. M. 48.4 mm. ?, gilt brass full plate, round pillars, fusee and chain for the going train, vergeescapement, three-arm gold balance, flat balance spring, repeating cadrature visible on the back plate, striking ontwo blued gongs by depressing the pendant.Case stamped DL?G, No 541/5597, pillar plate under dial: D&C 541.Diam. 56 mm.
