Unsigned, Geneva, circa 1820. Fine and unusual 18K rose gold three-train, petite et grande sonnerie clockwatch, quarter trip repeating watch with visible striking mechanism and special escapement.

C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", back cover and band engine-turned, hinged and spring loaded glazed gold cuvette, striking/silent lever at 12 o'clock under the cuvette. D. Gold, snap-on fit, champlevé radial Roman numerals on circular engine-turned ground, outer minute divisions, engine-turned center. Blued steel Breguet hands.M. 51 mm. (22'''), full plate, gilt brass, lateral lever escapement with very short lever, Messey type safety action, steel three-arm balance, blued steel balance spring, steel escape wheel, lever for change from petite to grande sonnerie extending into the case at 1 o'clock, "striking/silence" lever at 9 o'clock, repeating train from the same barrel as striking, striking and repeating works mounted on the back plate allowing for viewing, striking and repeating on gongs, repeating activated by tipping a button in the pendant.Case punched "JML", "2990", and La Chaux-de-Fonds gold guarantee mark.Diam. 58 mm.
