Flower Bouquet Charman London, No. 9066, made for the Chinese market, circa 1820. Fine large 18K gold painted on enamel, pearl-set watch.

C. Three-body, "Empire" with fixed cuvette, engine-turned band, split pearl-set bezels pendant and bow, the back painted on enamel with a fine composition of summer flowers against translucent scarlet enamel over sunburst engine-turning, the border decorated in champlevé enamel. Spring-loaded back (with two springs) opened by a pushpiece in the pendant. D. Off-white enamel with radial Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade and poker" hands. M.51 mm. ( 23'''), hinged, full-plate, gilt,oing barrel, cylindrical pillars, ruby cylinder escapement (the insert actually is of sapphire), brass four-arm balance, the balance and the steel escape wheel jeweled, both with ruby endstones, flat balance spring with Joseph Bosley patented regulator, gilded cock pierced and engraved with scrolled foliage. Gilded dust-cap finely engraved with scrolling foliage.Signed on the back plate and numbered on the dial.Diam. 62 mm.
