C.H. Meylan, Brassus, No. 5885, circa 1910. Very fine 18K gold, keyless minute-repeating presentation watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30-minute register.
C. Four-body, "bassine" with concealed hinge, polished, gold hinged cuvette with presentation inscription.D. White enamel, radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track, outermost chronograph track divided into fifths, minute register at 12, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 40 mm. (17 3/4'''), rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 40 jewels, 8 adjustments, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 50 mm.
