Censburger & Co., France, No. 4522, circa 1870.Fine, gilt brass, hours and half-hour striking, center-seconds, alarm carriage clock with hour repeat.
C. "corniche" type, rectangular, glazed on all sides and the top, U-shaped handle, four small feet. D. enamel, rectangular with Roman chapter set at the top, outer minute track, alarm chapter at the lower part. Blued steel "Fuseaux" hands. M. rectangular, 97 x 68 mm, triple train, going barrels, platform with lateral calibrated lever escapement with the lift on the pallets, cut bi-metallic compensation balance with brass screws, Breguet balance spring, rack striking on a bell, two hammers; oneor the alarm, repeating activated through small pushbutton on the top of the case. Signed on the dial, numbered on the movement.Dim. Height 158 x 92 mm.
