J. Vial - Paris. Produced in the 1940's.Fine and rare, stainless steel military, round single button, back and forth "retrograde" chronograph.

C. three-body, brushed, lobed revolving bezel, wire lugs. D. black with white Arabic numerals graduated to 60, outer graduation in fifth of a second can be set by turning the bezel. "Lozenge" blued steel chronograph hand. M. Cal. 21''', gilt brass, 15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance-spring. The pusher on the 11 is for stopping the chronograph hand, the co-axial pusher on the winding-crown is for starting the chronograph function back and forth and return toero.Dial signed, case numbered.Diam. 63 mm.
