Swiss or French, circa 1870. Very fine steel and brass face plate engine. Centering plate with three dog clamps, centering post, brass bed, driven by two wheel transmission with a crank lever, two-directional slide rest controlled by a knurled nut and crank lever with depth and lateral indication via gauge and finger, angular cutter adjustment, T-rest. Later wooden base. Base dim. 29 cm X 16.5 cm. Overall length 53 cm. Very good condition. A very well preserved tool.
