Swiss or French circa 1810. Fine and small verge escape wheel cutting engine. Horizontal brass dividing plate set with 6 rows of divisions, spring-loaded hinged locking arm with a thumb loop, pivoted cutting arm with a slide, conical blank holding fixture, brass holding arm with screw. Later lacquered base. Dim. 9 x 16 cm Good original condition.
