The Sea Shell. Geneva, No. 1068, circa 1810. Fine 18K gold and enamel form watch with concealed dial, designed as a sea shell.
C. Two-body, spring-loaded, decorated with black and yellow champlevé enamel, gold suspension ring. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute dot divisions with fifteen-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 22 mm. (9 3/4 ''', hinged, frosted gilt full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock.Same number on the movement and case.Dim. 37 x 28 mm.
