Notes

?GLT? was an imaginative clockmaker who made some unusual clocks with different escapements. A clock by him signed on the dial Guilmet, ?A.R., Paris? with a mysterious pendulum, is featured in the 3rd volume of ?Antiquarian Horology?, p. 170.70.
