The Wheat Sheaf. Geneva, circa 1820. Very fine 18K gold and painted on enamel, pearl- and diamond-set vinaigrette, designed as a sheaf of wheat.

Three-body, the lid finely painted on enamel with a sheaf of wheat, graduated pearl border, diamond-set belt,band in blue enamel with white enamel borders, base with translucent imperial blue enamel over a superbly engine-turned wheat sheaf, inside a scent compartment with pierced and engraved lid, containing what appears to be the original sponge.Dim. 38 x 45 mm.
