Bouquet of Flowers Vaucher, Fleurier, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1835. Fine and rare, 18K gold and enamel, center-seconds pocket watch.
C. two-body, the back featuring two enamel techniques: champlevé and painted enamel forming a bouquet of flowers on a black ground, the bezels, pendant and bow set with half-pearls, band with alternating green and blue panels. Gold cuvette hinged to the movement ring. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute and second divisions, Arabic fifteen minutes/seconds. Gold "spoon" hands. M. 44 mm (19''', fully engraved brass, "Chinese" caliber with gold wheels and standing barrel, 6 jewels, duplex escapement, plain three-arm steel balance, blued steel balance-spring.Dial and movement signed.Diam. 54 mm.
