France, No. 344, circa 1875. Fine 18K gold, diamond-set hunting-cased keyless oval pendant watch with photograph compartment.

C. five-body, ?bassine?, matted, front cover with applied diamond-set flower, small suspension chain, back cover fitted inside with a compartment for a miniature or a photograph, gold hinged monogrammed and dated 1876 cuvette. D. white enamel, Roman numerals on rose ring, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, center with gold painted rosette, top and bottom with gold stars. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. Oval, 30 x25 mm., frosted gilt, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance with flat balance spring, wolf-tooth winding wheels.Dim. 40 x 32 mm.
