Le Roy & Fils, "To the Queen", 57 New Bond Street, London, Paris, No. 6172, made in France circa 1910. Very fine and rare 18K gold and silver, ruby, sapphire, and diamond-set keyless miniature watch.
C. four-body, all hinged, "bassine", back set with diamonds and sapphire rosette in the center, ruby-set bezels, gold hinged cuvette with unusual silver top part for two-tone effect, swivel pendant with diamond-set bow.D. off-white, radial Arabic numerals, "12" in red, outer minute gold paillon dot divisions. Later painted hands.M. 17.5 mm. (7 3/4''', frosted gilt, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with flat balance spring.Signed on the cuvette, numbered on the pillar plate under the dial.Diam. 22.8 mm.
