C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 2677, circa 1880. Fine and rare 18K gold minute-repeating hunting-cases keyless watch with split-seconds chronograph.
C. four-body, heavy, "bassine a filets", polished, hinged gold cuvette. D. white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minutes and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 42 mm (19''', rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 26 jewels, calibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band.Movement signed.Diam. 45 mm.
