C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 5666, circa 1905. Very fine and rare 18K gold minute-repeating keyless watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30-minute instantaneous recorder.
C. four-body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished, hinged gold cuvette with inscription. D. white enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minutes and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minutes register. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 40 mm (18''', rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 40 jewels, eight adjustments, calibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band.Dial signed..Diam. 45 mm.
