Notes

A good repeater based on Julien LeRoy's inventions, including an adjustable potence for the escape wheel, a steel end-piece for the balance pivots to retain oil, dumb repeating and the so-called "bate levée", an arrangement which improved the housing for the repeating works. The casemaker also worked for Julien Le Roy.
