Two-body, the front with the initials "MDP" within an elaborate frame of white, green, translucent imperial blue, and red enamel, depicting Cupid's attributes - quiver and arrows, musical instruments, two doves with laurel-leaf wreath, symbolizing love and building the family home, and flowers. The back centered with a finely painted on enamel scene depicting a young lady and her suitor in a rose garden with a lake and mountains inthe background, elaborate green, red, white, and blue champlevé enamel frame forming cornucopias, doves and flowers.Punched with maker's initials on the pendant.Diam. 62 mm.
