F(ranç)is Traby A Malaga, Swiss, made for a Spanish retailer, circa 1790. Fine and unusual 18K gold double-face watch with date, age of the moon and days of the week.
C. Two-body, "Louis XVI", aperture in the back for the days of the week dial, engraved edge. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, four subsidiary dials for date, age of the moon, regulator and subsidiary seconds. Diamond-set hands. Enamel days of the week dial on back. M. 47 mm., frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance, flat balance spring, double-footed cock.Signed on dial and movement, case punched with a chevron, the Neuchâtel area gold guarantee mark.Diam. 53 mm.
