The Crossbow. Geneva, circa 1820. Fine 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set miniature cross-bow.

The stock and rest decorated with translucent imperial blue and yellow enamel with white and gold flowers, the bow set with a string of pearls with ends pierced for the bowstring, hinged trigger releasing the bowstring, gold suspension chain with gold and azure enamel ring.Dim: Stock 50 mm long, bow 76 mm.
