Pensez à moi, Gage d'amitié. Guex a Paris, No. 19364, circa 1790. Very fine 18K gold and enamel pearl- and diamond-set pendant watch with matching chatelaine in original leather fitted box.

C. Two-body, "Directoire", back in translucent imperial blue enamel over engine-turning with the applied diamond-set words "Gage D'Amitié", split-pearl bezels. Chatelaine: single crest-like panel decorated en suite with the applied diamond-set words "Pensez a moi", 3 matching links; for a watch, seal and key. D. White enamel, upright Arabic numerals, outer minute track with fifteen-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Gold tapered "serpentine" hands. M. 38 mm, frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock.Signed on dial and movement.Dim.
