French, chatelaine hallmarked 1760-61. Fine 18K varicolored gold and diamond-set quarter-repeating à toc watch with matching chatelaine, intaglio seal and a matching key.

C. Two-body, "Louis XV", back centered with applied multi-colored gold over sunburst pattern engraving, border with repoussé rocailles, front bezel with applied repeated pattern, diamond-set pendant. Chatelaine: with four links, each with applied multicolored gold flowers, two chains with matching links on each side, one for the intaglio seal, the other for the matching gold key. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Diamond-set hands. M. 26 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock, repeating on gold blocks by depressing the pendant. Punched with French gold guarantee marks on the chatelaine spoon.Diam. 39 mm, length with chatelaine: 21 cm.
