Two-body, the lid centered with a painted on enamel medallion depicting a couple saying farewell at the shore with a fully rigged ship anchored off shore in the background, gold frame, the whole within a frame of white enamel dots simulating split pearls, translucent chartreuse background over engine-turning with unusual dot pattern, the border with enamel simulating split pearls and green leaves, the sides decorated with en suite enamel over engine-turned panels separated by champlevé enamel vases, the base en suite to the top without medallion, the lid with a pronounced hinge.Dim. 81 x 60 mm, height 34 mm.
