C. Outer: two-body, back decorated with alternating repoussé portraits and pierced foliate scrolls, center with initials repoussé scrolls and vacant cartouche. Inner: Two-body, "bassine" with deep back, band very finely pierced and engraved with inhibited foliage, exotic birds, cartouche engraved with a chapel at VI. D. silver, champlevé radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers on polished cartouches, matte background, center repoussé with foliate scrolls. Blued steel "beetle and poker" hands.M. 40 mm, hinged to the case, frosted gilt full-plate with pierced Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, steel balance with flat balance spring, single-footed cock with streamers, repeating on bell by depressing the pendant.Dial and movement signed.Diam. 54 mm.
