Small, white enamel, eccentric, with upright Roman and Arabic numerals, surmounted by two sectors for date and days of the week, painted on enamel with the words: "Lions nos coeurs ensemble" surmounted by doves and flaming hearts. Gold pointer hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with baluster pillars, cylindar escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Gilt brass continental cock with garnet endstone, sector regulator, barel with pierced cock and garnet endstone.Movement signed.Diam. 58 mm.

Hahn. The brothers Hahn, Christian Gottfried (born 1769) and Christoph Matthaüs (1767-1833) worked in the workshop of their father Phil. Matth. Hahn, then went on to become "Hofmechanikus" (court mechanicians) in Stuttgart. Christian Gottfried was later recorded in Berlin and in America.
