Swiss, Fleurier, No. 502, circa 1860. Fine, small silver gilt and painted on enamel split pearl-set center seconds watch, made for the Chinese market.
C. Four-body, "Empire", spring-loaded back cover finely painted on enamel, depicting two ladies presenting a bouquet of roses to a young man, split pearl-set bezels, pendant and bow, glazed gilt silver cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute/seconds divisions with fifteen-minute/seconds Arabic markers. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 40.6 mm (18'''), gilt brass, fully engraved "Chinese" caliber with standing barrel, lateral lever escapement, three-arm steel balance with flat balance spring.Punched "J.B" inside back cover.Diam. 45 mm.
