C. four-body, solid, "bassine et filets", engine-turned band,hinged covers, front cover with enameled portrait of a younglady, surrounded by a diamond-set frame, case back withenameled painting of a bird, a lute and tambourine, notes andsurrounding flowers, hinged gold cuvette with peripheralengine-turning. D. white enamel with painted radial Romannumerals, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold "Spade" hands.M.
