White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost five-minute Arabic markers. Gold "Louis XV" hands.M. 39 mm. (17???), hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement with plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with agate endstone, micrometrically adjustable potence, repeating on gold blocks of the case by depressing the pendant, with wheel and pinion governor.Signed on the back plate, the dial plate engraved with the inscription: Inventé par Jul. Le Roy en 1740. Diam. 46 mm.
