Charles-Henry Audemars, Brassus, No. 13441, case No. 14019 circa 1882. Very fine and rare 18K gold, hunting-cased, keyless astronomical minute-repeating watch with perpetual calendar, age and phases of the moon.
C. Five-body, heavy, "bassine et filets", engine-turned, hinged gold cuvette, glazed dust cap.D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four year leap cycle and subsidiary seconds concentric with phases of the moon aperture. Blued steel "Spade" hands.M. 43 mm. (18'''), frosted gilt, 28 jewels, calibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs via activating slide in the band. Moon phase disc signed on the reverse.Diam. 54 mm.
