Leon Frossard, Genève, made between 1892 and 1898. Very fine and very rare set of 36 color technical drawings from the Ecole d?Horlogerie de Genève and a diploma from the same. Comprising drawings of lever, cylinder, Roskopf, English lever, spring detent, and pivoted detent escapements, repetition work, galvanometer, turning tools, different gearing including column wolf tooth, keyless windings, stop work arrangement, repeater governors, different parts of lever escapement, measuring calipers, and others. In addition, the lot contains Frossard?s 1898 diploma from the school, in modern cardboard folder. Signed on every drawing. Dim. varying from 64 x 48 cm to 41 x 32 cm. Some spotting, in very good overall condition.
