Notes

This is an interesting clock showing the development of the pendulum clock in the Neuchâtel area. Frères Huguenin In 1736, the two brothers Huguenin, Abram and Moïse, became-clockmakers to the King of Prussia. In 1745, they bought land in the Valanvron region, where in 1757, Moïse was made officer of the local militia. In 1754, Abram became a local judge. Both were expert clockmakers who had representatives in London, Basel and Strasburg.
