Two-body, by master casemaker Jean-Augustin Alban, No. 223, back centered by painted on enamel in camaieu medallion with a scene depicting a small boy playing the bagpipes while his dog dances to the rhythm, green gold laurel-leaf frame, bezels in repeated multicolored gold pattern.D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture at 2 o?clock. Gold "Louis XV" hands.M. 38 mm, frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, cylinder escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock, repeating train with two-arm fly governor, repeating on gold blocks fixed to the case by depressing the pendant.Signed on dial and movement, case punched with Alban?s trademark and Paris quarantee marks.Diam. 45 mm.
