A. Brocot & Delletrez, Paris, circa 1870. Very fine gilt bronze and marble 8 day going, center-seconds mantle clock striking hours and half-hours with perpetual calendar and visible Brocot escapement.
C. Rectangular with canted corners on green marble base, gilt molded surbase with foliate pattern, en suit marble side panels, ormolu canted corners with inhabited foliage, ormolu cornice with acanthus leaves, marble top.D. Eccentric Roman chapter with outer minute divisions set at the lower part, central seconds disc with radial Arabic 10-seond markers, center with the escapement. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. Below three subsidiary dials for days of the week, date and months. Whole on gilt brass florally engraved plate.M. Rectangular, going barrels for both trains, Brocot escapement with agate pallets, short pendulum with spring suspension.Signed on the movement.Dim. height 39 cm, base width 30 cm
