Jarossay & Compagnie ? Paris, circa 1850. Very fine and rare, pine and fruit-wood veneer, dead center seconds long duration wall regulator with worm-screw train, constructed after the patents No. 215 and 216 from October 16, 1844.
C. Rectangular, shaped base and the top, glazed hinged front door.D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute/seconds divisions. Blued steel "Breguet" hands.M. Brass, twin going barrels mounted on a large pulley set below the movement, barrels gearing with a fixed pinion allowing the pulley to turn and via endless rope, transmitting the power to a small pulley set on the first wheel of the movement constructed with Jarossay?s worm-screw train, pin-wheel escapement, wooden rod, cylindrical brass bob with micrometric adjustment, spring suspension.Signed on the dial and on the bridge linking the barrels.Dim. 134 x 32 x 17 cm.
