Swiss. Produced for Hung On Co., Hong Kong circa 1905. Fine and rare, half-hunting, keyless, double-dial, astronomic, five-minute-repeating, 14K gold watch with ?independent calendar? and moon phases.

C. Four-body,?bassine et filets?, solid, polished, both covers spring-loaded with patented device preventing the opening of the lower cover, front with aperture and champlevé Roman numerals. D. Front: white enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute track with 5-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Gilt ?Louis XV? hands. Back: calendar dial all in Chinese characters, outer 31-day date track, subsidiary days of the week at 9 and months at 3, aperture for the moon phases. M. Cal. 46mm, nickel,?fausses côtes? decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band.Dial signed.Diam. 54 mm.
