C. Two part rectangular with lobed corners, base engine-turned, front and side panels engraved with geometrical decoration, the lid chased with foliage over a dark blue ground, hinged back panel for the key compartment. Singing bird box enamelled cover painted with a fine composition of summer flowers over an azure ground, the enamel backing decorated en suite. Singing bird movement: Rectangular plates with turned pillars, fusee with chain, rectangularbellow, the bird with moving wings, tail, beak and turning head, controlled by a stack of 8 cams. Gilt brass grill, engraved with flowers.Charles Bruguier three tulip trademark, punched on the movement.Dim. 91 x 53 x 30 mm.
