Notes

B. Haas invented a perpetual calendar mechanism, PatentNo. 2870 from September 30, 1872 and a form of winding where the mainspring was wound by opening the front cover of a hunting cased watch. Patent 3945 from December 2, 1873. (Patent for Inventions. Abridgements of Specifications. Class 139, Watches, Clocks and Other Timekeepers, His Majesty's Stationery Office, London, 1905.).This watch was certainly produced in 1874 and therefore was one of the very first ever made, fitted with the invention of keyless winding for hunting cased watches, operated by opening and closing the cover.
